Kozhikode, where Vasco da Gama first set foot and where the legendary Spice Route was born, will always have a special place in the history of Kerala. The area also has a fascinating history. Kozhikode Beach is the embodiment of many features of Kozhikode that make Kozhikode unique. You can buy fresh seafood from the surrounding houses. Kallumekaya (mussels) are a local favorite. When you travel to Dolphin Point at dawn, you are sure to encounter dolphins at play. You will also see the lighthouse and two piers leading out to the sea. Both have been here for more than a century. This is also an important place for seafood lovers because it contains many delicacies such as the famous Kallummakaya (mussels). Dolphin Point is a must-see tourist attraction and you can get a good view of dolphins at play.
